Essentia

Essentia is a group that plays melodic moshrock. The band includes five young artists, who have played music a long time before coming together to form Essentia. This team is very powerful because they don't have anything to lose. They have started a spark to light the sun and then reloaded cupid with a gun.

It's not because of English language but because people seems to be lazy to post if the band members don't post!

This is Essentia old line, normally they should had something like 19/20 years on this pic. I asked to Don but I'm still waiting his answer.

So about the pic, Don said it should be from 2002, but rather 2003!
He can't remember exactly.

I´m sure I have a lot of stuff concerning Essentia that even Sarah doesn´t have Finnish demos, pictures etc.

I designed those Essentia logos by the way.

I have some Finnish demos, maybe not all but at least 7 tracks. But all the rest is very interesting my dear !

Alright.. here comes the answers to all the universum´s dilemnas:

-Three lines just stand for E. but the whole concept of Essentia means "olemus" in Finnish and that´s something we all have strongly but when I invented the name and the logo it also ment some bigger things. There were some writings about that in the old Essentia bio.

I´m so sorry but this is total bullshit! The truth is this (this might interest you even more but I´ll write it shortly because I´m goin to be a substitute teacher tomorrow in high-school):

Markus (nowadays in Empire Falls), Torsti (Theon, Lovex), Waltteri (ex Essentia) and I had this band called Beauty (one shitty record "Harsh" was made with that group.. Beauty is harsh like Aristitoteles said)

Anyway we broke Beauty up and asked Joonas Lepistö to join it because he was my best friend and we were always together in that time + he´s really talented musician as you all well now. Theon joined us later on and we had to singers for one time.. also Katra were playing keyboards etc. Leijonamieli in dj shit...

Anyway, first Essentia members were Don, Markus & Waltteri. Joonas was the last one. After that we were a real band and pretty shortly we made a record called "Hauras" ("Fragile" in English). Almost all the Essentia songs were mostly composed by Markus Härkönen. Joonas made the lyrics but anyway. Ladattuna Taas, Frozen Iron .... are made by Markus & us together. Ask me anything if you want. I have good memory about my musical history.

(Btw Bullet Ride is performing in Joonas´ vaalitilaisuus in bar Ruma 15.3. for no charge because of our old frinedship)
